I finally got a job. :) YAY!!!
I am a staff assistant in the main office at CAVS where Daniel works. Essentially I am the receptionist and a back up to the assistant in charge of procurements. I have signed my offer letter and filled out paperwork and officially start Monday 9-11-06. I am excited, and nervous, but I know I can do the job and it is full time and pays better than any off campus job I applied for and got interviewed for. I also can start taking classes again as one of the benefits is two free classes a semester. So this spring I will finally be back in school. YAY again.

I am depressed...again...job search is not going well although I have finally figured out what I am going to major in since I decided against nursing because of time factors, car situation, and prospect of NOT getting into the nursing program at MUW on the first try. *sigh*
Life sucks right now and it is not supposed to...is it?

I joined Curves. So far i love it. just getting out of the house for a change it great. Getting away from the kids and stress... It is already making me happier. My weigh in/measurement day is Feb 10 so here's hoping I reach my short term goal.
I am thinking baby steps. i have already lost 20 pounds but it took 18 months so I am hoping the exercise will help make it go a little faster.

Wednesday Bekah was clibing and pulled some things off of the mantle and onto her head. One of the things was a rather heavy porcelain dragon fountain. It hit her and made a nasty gash in her head. There was alot of blood but that is to be expected with a head wound. Dan and I decided to go ahead and take her to the ER so we did and she ended up with a staple.
We went back today, they wanted to do a wound check and if it was not closing up properly add a couple more staples, but the said it looked god and we could let her have a bath and wash her hair, Thank goodness cause it still had dried blood al in it. They said just not to soak it or scrub it or anything. She should get the staple out monday or Tuesday.

Ugh! the kids have had a stomach virus and I am tired of changing diapers and cleaning up puke. Mommi needs a BREAK!
I think they are better today though. Hopefully I won't get it now.
I have to make some scrubs for my sister for her Christmas present. She is an EMT but has a new job at an assisted Living/Private Nursing Home that she starts this week, and although she has some scrubs from when she worked at Meditrim and the Dr's office, she still needs some more.
I have never made scrubs but they are simple, much more simple that the children's dresses I have been making.
